About Us

Muay Thai Training Programs

Phangan Muay Thai & Fitness Gym is located on the tropical island of Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand with neighboring Koh Samui. We offer a unique and exciting Muay Thai boxing and fitness experience to men, women, and children of all ages.

We have the only fully equipped Muay Thai and fitness gym in Koh Phangan which gives our Muay Thai students as well as the public the benefit of strength and cardiovascular training.

Our trainers take great pride in watching their students develop and achieve their goals whether it be to compete in the ring, self defense, recreational, weight loss or just to get fit.

A typical training day students will do a light warm up, quick stretching routine and learn to wrap their hands.

They will do some shadow boxing where they will learn the basic fundamental techniques of Muay Thai such as fighting guard position, balance, foot work, blocking and combinations.

Instructors will spend time with each student in the class to correct there form and technique on the heavy bag and pad work where after they will do some light technical sparring and clinching to break down individual techniques and learn how to apply them in the most efficient manner.

 

 

Private One-On-One Training

 

Get the most out of your stay in Koh Phangan with the one on one training program specific to you and your goals.

Your trainer will do a quick overview of technique, footwork, balance, coordination and your conditioning to assess your experience level. The training sessions are short but intense 1 hour long workouts with a heavy emphasis on technique.

Your trainer will show you how to wrap your hands, fighting guard position and how to execute all the Muay Thai techniques. You will do lots of pad work to increase your conditioning level along with light technical sparring and clinching.
